NBA, Celtics Twitter react to Boston’s 107-88 loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of 2022 NBA Finals
The Boston Celtics took the Golden State Warriors’ best punch well in the first half, but it was the third-quarter avalanche straight out of Golden State’s tried and true standards that sunk the Celtics in Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Finals more than anything else.
The mood from the audience on the league’s unofficial social media site of Twitter shifted from confidence to trepidation to acceptance once the Warriors got up big in the game’s third quarter. Questions of a potential sweep in the first half quickly evaporated in light of a substandard performance from Boston in the contest’s second half.
