NBA awards betting odds for OKC's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Mark Daigneault

The OKC Thunder is enjoying a breakout campaign.

After not making the playoffs last season, OKC (49-21) sits a half game out of first place in the Western Conference standings. It's a massive jump, and the Thunder's strong play hasn't gone unnoticed.

Numerous OKC players are in the running for NBA awards, and so is head coach Mark Daigneault. Here's a look at the updated betting odds:

It'll be tough to dethrone a two-time MVP in Jokic, but Gilgeous-Alexander remains in the conversation. The 25-year-old guard is averaging 30.8 points, 6.4 assists and 5.6 rebounds this season on the best team in the West.

Most Improved Player

Maxey and White have made this award a two-man race, but Williams has still made strides. After averaging 14.1 points and 3.3 assists last season, the sophomore is averaging 19.2 points and 4.5 assists on 44.4% shooting from deep this time around.

Coach of the Year

Daigneault is OKC's best chance of taking home an award. The fourth-year head coach has helped the Thunder go from 40-42 last season to the best team in the West.

Clutch Player of the Year

Gilgeous-Alexander is tied for ninth in the NBA in total clutch points (98), which come in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter or overtime when the score is within five points. Curry (167) and DeRozan (166) rank first and second, respectively.
