National reactions: Eagles top Bills but penalties play a part

The Philadelphia Eagles hung around with the Buffalo Bills just enough to pull off a stunning overtime victory in Week 12. The final score was 37-34.

There were incredible moments for both teams once the game got going. The ending was one was to remember (for Philly).

The Eagles connected on a 59-yard field goal to force overtime via the foot of kicker Jake Elliott. Just when you thought that was wild enough, overtime then happened.

The Bills did their best to punch in a game-winning touchdown but fell just shot. Settling for the field goal proved costly as the Eagles got a touchdown run from quarterback Jalen Hurts shortly after a pass from Bill quarterback Josh Allen fell incomplete in the end zone.

But throughout all that, the penalties played a huge part. Many went against Buffalo (11) and very few against Philadelphia (4). As much as the impressive win, the flags caught attention, too.
