Nasirildeen flips to Florida State

Long-time South Carolina safety commit Hamsah Nasirildeen has flipped his commitment to Florida State, the four-star Concord (N.C.) standout announced on Twitter Sunday night.

"After discussions with my family and much prayer I have decided it is in my best interst to decommit from the University of South Carolina," Nasirildeen said. "I want to thank Coach (Will) Muschamp and Coach (Bobby) Bentley for the opportunity. I wish you nothing but success in the coming years.

"I would also like to announce at this time my commitment to Florida State University."

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Nasirildeen committed to South Carolina this summer before taking an official to FSU during the season and to South Carolina during the weekend of Jan. 13.
