NASCAR Cup Series at Talladega: Entry list, TV schedule for Sunday's race

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Talladega for the potentially chaotic YellaWood 500 on Sunday.

Last week, William Byron outlasted Bubba Wallace and Chase Briscoe in a late-race restart to win at Texas and clinch a spot in the next round. With Talladega and the Charlotte Roval upcoming, the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports team will be the only of the 12 playoff teams not so nervous over the next two weekends.

Kyle Larson was a contender at Texas, but a late-race wreck pushed him down to 8th in the playoff standings and a two-point cushion from the cutline. Given that the playoffs are coming down to the final six races, some surprising names will be set for elimination following next week's race at the Roval. Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski are former champions below the cutline heading into Talladega with two races left in the round of 12.
