NASCAR Cup Series at Las Vegas: Starting lineup, TV schedule for Sunday's race

The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs roll into Las Vegas for Sunday's race, the first in the round of 8.

At the Charlotte Roval last week, former champions Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch were knocked out of the playoffs along with Ross Chastain and Bubba Wallace. Non-playoff driver AJ Allmendinger earned the win last Sunday.

The margin of error for the eight remaining race teams in the playoffs is very slim; William Byron's lead over fifth-place Chris Buescher is 20 points, which could be eroded by one poor performance.

Four races also remain in the full-time driving career of Kevin Harvick, who has won twice at Las Vegas in his career. Sunday will mark his 29th career Cup Series start at the track; his first start at Las Vegas was in his second career Cup race in 2001.
