More than 100 athletes chosen to play in Section 9 Exceptional Seniors Football game
The Section Nine Football Coaches Association is conducting an Exceptional Seniors game at James I. O’Neill High School. Game time on Saturday is 11 a.m.
More than 100 senior athletes from all 11-man and 8-man football teams in Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess counties will participate. Eligible players were assigned to two teams: American and National.
The teams will conduct practices at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday.
All-star teams: Section 9 high school football coaches association choose all-section, all-class teams
Mike Liverani of Onteora will coach the American Team. A decision on the National Team is to be determined. Coaches from most of the schools are expected to serve in some assistant capacities.
