ARIEL EPSTEIN: What's going on, Yahoo Fantasy? I'm the Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein, with three different plays for today in DFS. Let's start with the Cleveland Guardians starter Triston McKenzie. He's $51 and has a great matchup with the Oakland Athletics. The Athletics have the worst OPS against right-handed pitchers this season. Second, the Athletics have the 10th highest K rate against right-handed pitchers. McKenzie is a righty. In addition to having three different games this year against teams with a top-15 K rate against right-handers, McKenzie has had at least six strikeouts in all three of those games. McKenzie has also gone at least six innings in his last six starts. He's only had two home starts. However, McKenzie has only allowed a max of two runs in those home starts. Give me Triston McKenzie for $51 tonight in my lineup.
Now, for $21, this is a designated hitter. It's the Boston Red Sox DH, J.D. Martinez. I love this matchup with the Seattle Mariners starter Marco Gonzales, considering Martinez is hitting .364 in his career with a home run against Gonzales. He's also hitting, Martinez-- .353 on the season in addition to .412 on the year up against left-handed pitchers. Gonzales is a southpaw. Martinez doesn't care if he's home or on the road. He's hitting .300-- well, at least .300. Either way, J.D. Martinez is hot right now. And the matchup is perfect. $21-- he's worth it for your lineup tonight.
My last play is the St. Louis Cardinals outfielder, Harrison Bader. He's $15 on Yahoo Fantasy. He's worth it because he's hitting .400 against Luis Castillo in his career, with two doubles in 15 at-bats. Bader has had five of his eight games in June be multi-hit games. Plus, he's heading .296 against right-handers all season anyway. I like Harrison Bader for $15 tonight. Here's your MLB DFS recap.
