Clayton Kershaw notched a milestone on April 18, 2023, shutting down the New York Mets and picking up his 200th career win. It’s remarkable territory for the longtime Dodgers ace (a little over 120 pitchers have hit that mark), and it adds to his growing resume that will most likely culminate in the Hall of Fame.

But as impressive as 200 wins are in the show, it’s far from the upper portion of the record-holding hierarchy—where different eras collide to create a “Sign of the Times” mashup of righties and lefties. (For instance, Kid Nichols threw over 2,600 innings in his first seven seasons; Kershsaw has thrown that many during his 16-year career.)
