Mizzou football recruiting class 2023: Meet the newest Tigers
The newest class of Missouri football Tigers is official.
Eli Drinkwitz's top 40 recruiting class for 2023 isn't as star-studded as the 2022 class, but it still features key additions in significant areas.
Mizzou football signees
WR Theo Wease
Vitals: 6-3, 200 pounds
Wease is a transfer from Oklahoma. He logged 19 catches for 378 yards and four touchdowns last season.
EDGE Jakai Lang
Vitals: 6-3, 240 pounds
Lang will join the Tigers as a three-star prospect from Troy Buchanan. The three-star edge defender is ranked No. 62 nationally at his position.
OL Brandon Solis
Vitals: 6-7.5, 275 pounds
Solis attended Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, where he played for new Alabama-Birmingham head coach Trent Dilfer. He is a three-star offensive tackle who ranks 78th at his position.
K Blake Craig
Vitals: 5-11, 180 pounds
Craig is an in-state kicker prospect from Liberty North. He is not star-rated by 247, but was highly touted by Kohl’s Kicking Camps.
S Marvin Burks
Vitals: 6-2, 190 pounds
A relatively recent addition to the class, Burks was committed to Ole Miss before flipping to Missouri. The safety from Cardinal Ritter in St. Louis is a four-star prospect.
TE Brett Norfleet
Vitals: 6-7, 220 pounds
The tight end is a four-star prospect out of Francis Howell in St. Charles. He ranks 14th nationally at his position.
EDGE Serigne Tounkara
Vitals: 6-3, 240 pounds
Tounkara is an edge defender from Clear Springs in Texas. He is a three-star prospect and ranks 98th nationally at his position.
TE Jordon Harris
Vitals: 6-4.5, 232
Harris, who can play tight end and defensive end, committed to Missouri on Monday. He was not star-rated out of Pine Bluff in Arkansas, but his lone season of high school football garnered him multiple SEC offers.
DE Austin Firestone
Vitals: 6-5, 260 pounds
Firestone is a class of 2022 transfer from Northwestern.
WR Marquis Johnson
Vitals: 5-11, 176 pounds
Johnson is a three-star wide receiver from Dickinson, Texas. He ranks as the No. 80 wide receiver in the 2023 class.
OL Logan Reichert
Vitals: 6-6, 350 pounds
Another in-state commit from Raytown. Reichert is a three-star offensive lineman and the 30th- ranked offensive tackle in his class.
DB Shamar McNeil
Vitals: 6-3, 175 pounds
The cornerback from American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a three-star prospect. He is the 99th- ranked corner in the 2023 class.
LB Triston Newson
Vitals: 6-2, 210 pounds
Newson is a linebacker transfer from Northeast Community College in Mississippi. The three-star junior college prospect was Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference defensive player of the year last season.
LB Brayshawn Littlejohn
Vitals: 6-1, 220 pounds
The Gaffney, South Carolina linebacker earned a three-star ranking from 247. He is the 99th- ranked player at his position in the 2023 class.
WR Daniel Blood
Vitals: 6-0, 175 pounds
Blood is the only player from Louisiana in his class for MU after attending Destrehan for his high school football. He is a three-star prospect.
WR Joshua Manning
Vitals: 6-3, 190 pounds
A wide receiver from Lee’s Summit, Manning is a four-star prospect, ranking 36th nationally at his position.
DL Sam Williams
Vitals: 6-3, 260 pounds
A lineman from Hogansville, Georgia, Williams is a three-star prospect, and ranked 145th at his position.
S Phillip Roche
Vitals: 6-1, 190 pounds
Roche is a three-star safety from Merrillville in Indiana.
WR Nicholas DeLoach
Vitals: 6-2, 175 pounds
Another St. Louis-area prospect, Deloach is a wide receiver from Cahokia in Illinois. He is a three-star recruit.
RB Jamal Roberts
Vitals: 5-11, 200 pounds
The running back from St. Mary’s in St. Louis is a three-star prospect. He was ranked as the 42nd running back in his class.
QB Gabarri Johnson
Vitals: 6-0, 200 pounds
A four-star quarterback from Lincoln in Tacoma, Washington. Johnson is a four-star prospect and ranks 30th nationally for 2023 QBs.
