MIT’s autonomous cargo and passenger boats

MIT CSAIL is taking autonomous mobility to the waters by creating autonomous boats that would transport cargo and passengers across waterways. Roboat II uses the same technologies as self-driving cars to maneuver canals and uses 4 propellers that help move the boat in the right direction. Future plans of the Roboat II is to create autonomous Roboats that would carry 4 to 6 passengers. Learn more at News.MIT.edu
