Missouri football takes the field at the Dome at America's Center for the Mizzou To The Lou Classic, taking on the Memphis Tigers in a not-so-neutral field.

FINAL: Missouri 34, Memphis 27

Memphis adds a touchdown, but Schrader runs the clock out.

Cody Schrader sends us home

A 37-yard touchdown run seals the deal. Missouri will start 4-0 on the season.

MU leads 34-20 with 2:46 remaining.

Memphis gets the field goal back

A sustained drive for Memphis ends with a 22-yard field goal. That makes Missouri's lead 27-20.

Mevis gives Missouri more breathing room

The running game is finding daylight, and the Tigers used that to sustain a long drive to start the fourth quarter. That drive ends with a field goal.

Mevis' second field goal of the day puts Missouri up 27-17 with 11 minutes to play in the game.

End of the third quarter: Missouri 24, Memphis 14

Memphis answers

All the momentum Missouri grabbed is now back to a neutral state.

A 13-yard catch and run for a score by Blake Watson cuts the Missouri lead to just a score. MU leads 24-17 now, with nearly the entire third quarter gone.

Missouri goes ahead by two scores

A big, bug play by Luther Burden sets Missouri up in Memphis territory and Cook finishes the drive with a touchdown toss to Theo Wease.

Missouri is up 24-10, but Burden left the game after injuring his leg.

HALFTIME: Missouri 17, Memphis 10

Mevis adds to Missouri's lead

With a few seconds remaining in the half, Harrison Mevis puts Missouri up seven.

A healthy dose of Luther Burden brings the ball down to the Memphis goal line but MU couldn't punch it in. Missouri still leads 17-10.

Missouri regains the lead

After having a lackluster offense for two drives, Missouri finds the end zone again. This time, on the ground with a one-yard run by Nathaniel Peat.

MU got down to the one with Luther Burden just leaving defenders in the dust for a 20-yard gain.

Missouri leads 14-10.

End of the first quarter: Memphis 10, Missouri 7

Memphis goes ahead on the Mizzou turnover

Cody Schrader, the usually sure-handed back, fumbled on Missouri's second drive of the game. That set Memphis up with a short field.

Memphis capitalized on a three-yard touchdown toss, and the visiting Tigers lead 10-7 now.

Memphis answers with a field goal

Tanner Gillis connected on a 43-yard field goal to get Memphis on the board.

Missouri had a fourth-down situation, but Memphis converted to keep the drive moving. MU still leads 7-3 late in the first quarter.

Missouri gets on the board first

Hello, Marquis Johnson.

A 76-yard touchdown toss to Johnson from Brady Cook gets Missouri on the board first. The true freshman showed off his speed there.

Missouri leads 7-0.

Kickoff: Mizzou to kick to start

Missouri deferred to the second half. Memphis should have gotten the ball, but a penalty on MU negated an onside kick that gave Missouri the ball.

Memphis receives the kick and starts at the 25.
