Miles Russell of Jax Beach, Jackson Byrd of St. Simons complete big week at Junior Ryder Cup

Miles Russell of Jacksonville Beach and Jackson Byrd of St. Simons Island, Ga., got caught up in the European rout of the U.S. in the Junior Ryder Cup.

But they each had at least one moment where they scored at least a half-point for their team and they had the experience of representing their country.

Europe swamped the U.S. 20.5-9.5 to cut the overall margin to 7-4-1 in favor of the U.S. at the Marco Simone Golf Club, the same venue where the Ryder Cup began on Friday.
