Smith tops Williams in great battle for Region Athlete of Week
Only one of the winners of the Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week poll in the past five weeks have topped 500 votes.
Two surpassed that threshold this week.
Milan bowler Maggie Smith was crowned the winner for Feb. 19-25 with 550 votes while Bedford boys basketball player Jace Williams took second with 513.
