Michigan football offers 2024 3-star RB from powerhouse West Coast high school

There have been a lot of big-time players who have hailed from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman. Namely quarterbacks Tate Martell and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

The Wolverines already have one big-time running back committed in Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller four-star Jordan Marshall, who was atop rival Ohio State’s board, and have been hot and heavy in pursuit of Texas-based four-star Taylor Tatum — who has one Michigan football prediction via the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

But it appears Mike Hart is seeking more bodies in the offensive backfield. Taking to Twitter, it appears that Hart was intrigued by Bishop Gorman prospect, as he offered three-star tailback Micah Kaapana on Saturday.

Kaapana has offers from schools such as BYU and Utah and he’s listed at 5-foot-11, 180-pounds. He’s rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 612 player in the country, the 51st-ranked running back in 2024, and the third-best player in the state of Nevada.
