Miami's Tyler Herro cleared to resume basketball-related activities, but no timetable for his return
It didn't appear to be a good look for the Miami Heat when shooting guard Tyler Herro broke his hand in the first game of the NBA playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks.
But without Herro, Miami has won 11 of its 15 playoff games including a 4-1 series victory over the Bucks and former Marquette star Jimmy Butler now has the Heat one game away from the NBA Finals without Herro's instant offense.
Get Herro a new uniform please
According to TNT analyst and former Wisconsin coach Stan Van Gundy, there's additional motivation to get Herro and his 20.1 points a view from somewhere other than a folding chair as soon as possible.
“You know the No. 1 reason the Heat need Tyler Herro back?” Van Gundy asked Reggie Miller on the TNT Game 4 Eastern Conference Finals broadcast Tuesday night. “Because his fashion is so bad on the bench. We need him in uniform."

Herro is 'not even close' to return from injury
Is it possible that the Greenfield native could play in the NBA Finals if the eighth-seeded Heat are able finish off the No. 2 Boston Celtics?
Herro, a former star at Whitnall High School, was cleared for non-contact basketball-related activities Wednesday, but it appears the chances of him playing anytime soon remain doubtful.
"He's not even close guys... Tyler's got a long way to go. He's still got to strengthen that hand now that it's out of the cast."

Perhaps Herro can at least suit up in Heat attire if his teammates continue their improbable journey to Denver next week.
Although he can make the argument that his choice of lids Tuesday night was at least a bucket(s) hat.
