MIAA releases Divisions 1-5 high school boys soccer state tournament fields

The MIAA released the Division 1-through-5 high school boys soccer state tournament brackets Wednesday afternoon.

A total of 24 South Shore teams made the fields. Weymouth (No. 5 in Div. 1), Hingham (No. 4 in Div. 2), Oliver Ames (No. 6 in Div. 2), Norwell (No. 3 in Div. 3), Pembroke (No. 4 in Div. 3) and Cohasset (No. 1 in Div. 4) are among the area's favorites, as its six highest-ranked teams in their respective divisions.

Dates and times for the first round matchups are to be announced, as is the neutral site for the state championship round.
