The MIAA final power rankings are out. Where do Fall River high school winter teams stand?

FALL RIVER — On Saturday, the MIAA released its final tournament power rankings for Fall River area winter sports team.

The rankings only include scores entered into Arbiter, verified by MIAA and schools as of Feb. 24 at 4 a.m.

The top 32 boys and girls basketball teams qualify for the tournament, regardless of record. The top 32 ranked schools for boys and girls hockey power rated teams also qualify, regardless of record. Teams outside the top 32 with a .500 or better record also qualify.

Here's where the Fall River area sports teams are currently ranked:

Boys Basketball

Division 1: Durfee (24); Diman (61)

Division 2: Somerset Berkley (4)

Division 4: Case (22)

Division 5: Westport (34), Atlantis Charter (46)

NOTE: There are no local teams in Div. 3

Girls Basketball

Division 1: Durfee (28), Diman (55)

Division 2: Somerset Berkley (37)

Division 4: Case (16)

Division 5: Westport (5), Atlantis Charter (81)

NOTE: There are no local teams in Div. 3

Boys Ice Hockey

Division 3: Bishop Stang (37), Diman/Durfee/Westport (33), Somerset Berkley (12)

NOTE: There are no local teams in Div. 1, 2, 4

Girls Ice Hockey

Division 1: Bishop Stang (Durfee, Somerset Berkley) (26)

NOTE: There are no local teams in Div. 2
