Which of the Mets' top prospects will play in Spring Breakout game? See the roster here

The New York Mets' future is a bright one.

With four prospects in the MLB Pipeline Top 100 and a handful more knocking on the door of that list, the Mets front office is banking on an infusion of youth to move the organization forward.

Much of that talent will be on display on March 15 at 3 p.m. against the Washington Nationals in the clubs' inaugural Spring Breakout game, a series of games across Major League Baseball to showcase the future of the sport. The rosters for all 30 teams were announced Thursday afternoon. The Mets' contest against the Nats will be broadcast on SNY.

For the Mets, all four of their top 100 prospects — Jett Williams, Drew Gilbert, Luisangel Acuña and Ryan Clifford — are on the roster for the game.

New York Mets' Luisangel Acuna, left, gets a fist bump from teammate Pete Alonso (20) as they take the field for the second inning of a spring training baseball game against the Washington Nationals Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The game will also be an opportunity for Mets fans to see some of their most recent high draft picks, including their top three selections in 2023: first-round pick Colin Houck, second-round pick Brandon Sproat and third-round pick Nolan McLean.

Several of the players acquired at last season's trade deadline will also be featured, including shortstop Marco Vargas and catcher Ronald Hernandez, who were acquired from the Marlins in the David Robertson deal, and shortstop Jeremy Rodriguez, who came over from the Diamondbacks in the trade that shipped out Tommy Pham.

Here is who will be featured on the Mets' spring breakout roster this season:
