Mets OF Brandon Nimmo admitted to being a little frustrated with not seeing the results at the plate despite "hitting the ball really well" since the beginning of the season. He finally got to enjoy the fruits of his labor, launching a solo home run in the seventh inning that proved to be the difference in a 4-3 Mets win. Manager Carlos Mendoza cited Nimmo's "control of the strike zone" as a key to his success.
