MetroWest and Milford Week 7 high school football schedule and results

The end of the regular season is in sight, but local high school football teams still have some things to sort out.

Milford remains the area's only undefeated squad at 6-0, but the Scarlet Hawks face their biggest test of the season so far at King Philip. The Warriors are the No. 2 seed in Division 2 and a consensus one of the best teams in the state. They played a gritty, hard-nosed defensive affair a season ago, and Friday's tilt will likely be no different.

Hopkinton and Holliston are meeting for an important game in more ways than one. It's a Tri-Valley Large clash that could break up the middle of the standings, and the Panthers are hosting Tim Garry night in order to raise awareness for those struggling with their mental health. Attendees are encouraged to wear green, and Hopkinton will wear its home green uniforms in solidarity.

Hopkinton High School football players celebrate after the game, defeating Wayland, 20-19, in the season opener for both teams, Sept. 8, 2023. From left: senior Sam Pantera; senior Logan Richardson; senior Mike Scardino; and senior Jason Piccioli.
