Memphis football QB Seth Henigan says he will 'Run it back' with Tigers in 2024

Memphis football quarterback Seth Henigan still has a few things to do in the Bluff City.

He posted a graphic on social media with the words "Let's run it back" on Saturday, indicating once again he plans to return to Memphis for his final year of eligibility.

It wasn't exactly a surprise, given Henigan answered "no" when asked after the loss to SMU on Nov. 18 if it had been his last game at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The news from earlier this week that backup quarterback Tevin Carter planned to enter the transfer portal also hinted that Henigan would return.

Nonetheless, Henigan's return for the 2024 season would be massive for the Tigers. He's been the starter since the first game of his true freshman year and has improved since then, especially during the back half of this season. He was named second team All-AAC and is poised to break almost all of the Memphis passing records in 2024.

Henigan has helped lead Memphis to a 9-3 record this season after two consecutive 6-6 regular seasons to start his career.

He's already the leader in completions.
