Here are Memphis area high school football top performers from Week 2 of the 2023 season:

Offense

Brodie Brannon, Arlington: Brannon carried the ball 23 times for 83 yards with two touchdowns in a 24-0 victory over East.

Jacksen Lyons, Arlington: Lyons was 15-of-20 passing for 134 yards with a touchdown.

Kam Alexander, Bartlett: Alexander was 10-for-17 passing for 197 yards with three touchdowns in a 24-14 victory over Lausanne.

Jade Kneeland, Bartlett: Kneeland had eight receptions for 140 yards with two touchdowns.

Geron Johnson, Bartlett: Johnson had 106 rushing yards on 26 carries.

Cade Carlson, Briarcrest: Carlson threw for 93 yards, ran for 37 and accounted for three touchdowns in a 56-0 victory over Kingsbury.

JoJo Saleem, Briarcrest: Saleem rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns.

JD Donaldson, Briarcrest: Donaldson had an 87-yard touchdown run.

Cade Crowson, Brighton: Crowson threw for 222 yards with two touchdowns in a 35-27 loss to Covington.

Lawrence Autry, Center Hill: Autry had 80 yards rushing and three touchdowns in a 64-0 victory over Douglass.

Tony Vann, Central: Vann carried the ball 17 times for 96 yards and a touchdown in a 49-21 loss to Senatobia.

William Kreitz, Christian Brothers: Kreitz ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in a 53-0 victory over Sheffield.

Aidan Glover, Collierville: Glover was 17-of-25 passing for 189 yards with three touchdowns in a 28-21 victory over Beech. He also had a rushing TD.

Joakim Dodson, Collierville: Dodson had eight catches for 106 yards with a touchdown.

Jaylen Webster, Cordova: Webster threw for 140 yards with two touchdowns in a 39-0 victory over St. Benedict.

Jeremiah Ledlow, Cordova: Ledlow rushed for two touchdowns.

Caleb Logan, Cordova: Logan had 65 receiving yards with a touchdown.

Skylan Smith, Covington: Smith ran the ball 31 times for 258 yards with four touchdowns in a 35-27 victory over Brighton.

Wilks Biggs, ECS: Biggs was 25-of-43 passing for 322 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-22 loss to Olive Branch.

William Cheairs, ECS: Cheairs caught nine passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

Brian Shields, FACS: Shields rushed for 145 yards with five touchdowns in a 65-0 victory over Lakeland Prep. He also returned a punt 63 yards for a TD.

Briceton Miller, FACS: Miller rushed for two touchdowns and had a fumble return for a TD.

Topher Jones, Hernando: Jones had 19 carries for 192 yards with four touchdowns in a 41-26 victory over Rosa Fort. He also threw for a TD.

Chandler Day, Houston: Day threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-26 loss to South Panola. He also ran for a TD.

Derrick Miller, Houston: Miller had seven receptions for 116 yards and three touchdowns.

TJ Jenkins, Lausanne: Jenkins threw for 122 yards with two touchdowns in a 24-14 loss to Bartlett.

Elliot Helps, Lewisburg: Helps had 16 solo tackles and eight assists in a 14-3 loss to Lake Cormorant.

Kody Gilmore, Lewisburg: Gilmore had four solo tackles, two assists and an interception.

Kumaro Brown, MASE: Brown ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns in a 50-14 victory over St. George’s. He also had a receiving TD.

Matthew Keller, Middle College: Keller threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-0 victory over Hillcrest.

Taysean Fondren, Middle College: Fondren scored three touchdowns (two rushing and one receiving). Defensively, he had an interception.

Jordan Bell, Munford: Bell threw for 170 yards with two touchdowns in a 42-14 victory over Millington.

Isaiah Cobbs, Munford: Cobbs had four receptions for 135 yards with two touchdowns.

Bricen Turnage, Munford: Turnage had 116 rushing yards with two touchdowns.

Makhi Shaw, MUS: Shaw had 101 yards total offense and scored two touchdowns in a 39-0 victory over Melrose.

Brady Hughes, MUS: Hughes passed for two touchdowns.

Jack Patterson, Northpoint: Patterson was 19-of-27 passing for 268 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-14 victory over Magnolia Heights. He also had two rushing TDs.

Damontae Dillard, Northpoint: Dilliard rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns.

Grayson Alford, Northpoint: Alford had six receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Marquise Townsel, Oakhaven: Townsel rushed for 191 yards on 13 attempts and three touchdowns in a 48-20 victory over BTW.

Landon Randle, Oakhaven: Randle had two rushing touchdowns. Defensively, he returned a fumble 30 yards for a TD.

Kylan Rhodes, Olive Branch: Rhodes carried the ball 23 times for 292 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-22 victory over ECS.

Jerry Wall, Olive Branch: Wall ran for 78 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, he had a 47-yard interception return for a TD.

Kelvin Perkins, Southwind: Perkins threw for 265 yards, ran for 85 yards and accounted for six touchdowns in a 48-12 victory over Horn Lake.

Defense

Derrecas Henson Jr., Bartlett: Henson had two interceptions in a 24-14 win against Lausanne.

Lance Taylor and Austin Howard, Bartlett: Taylor and Howard each had four solo tackles, including three for loss.

Kaleb McAlister, Center Hill: McAlister had five tackles, including one for loss, in a 64-0 win against Douglass.

John Clay Durley and Wesley Jackson, Collierville: Durley and Jackson each had seven total tackles in a 28-21 win against Beech. Durley also had a fumble recovery.

Raymond Tate, Cordova: Tate had five total tackles and a fumble recovery in a 39-0 win against St. Benedict.

Ethan Johnson, Christian Brothers: Johnson registered two sacks in a 53-0 win against Sheffield.

Cameron Williams and Aven Gatlin, FACS: Williams and Gatlin each had nine solo tackles in a 65-0 win against Lakeland Prep. Williams also had an interception.

Trea Wampler and Luke Clements, FACS: Wampler and Clements had six solo tackles and five solo tackles, respectively. Clements also an interception return for a touchdown.

Stanley Burrow, MASE: Burrow registered 17 solo tackles in a 50-14 win against St. George’s.

Kandence Nelson, MASE: Nelson had three tackles and two interceptions, including a 65-yard return for a touchdown.

Jaiden Lenore, MASE: Lenore had five solo tackles, including two for loss.

Lonnie Tate and Antavion Avant, Melrose: Tate and Avant combined for 11 solo tackles, including four for loss, in a 39-0 setback to MUS.

Ra'Shun Buluu, Middle College: Buluu had four tackles and a blocked punt return for a touchdown in a 42-0 win against Hillcrest.

Jon Hulbert, Middle College: Hulbert had seven tackles.

Clay Bridges, Munford: Bridges had 11 tackles, including three for loss, and a strip sack in a 42-14 win against Millington.

Josh Reeves, Munford: Reeves had eight tackles and a forced fumble.

Josh Griffin, Munford: Griffin had 10 tackles.

Landon Cunningham, Munford: Cunningham had seven tackles.

Jeremiah Tisdel and Hudson Shoaf, MUS: Tisdel and Shoaf combined for seven total tackles in a 39-0 win against Melrose.

Jules Mettetal, Northpoint: Mettetal had six solo tackles, three assists and two sacks in a 48-14 win against Magnolia Heights.

Charlie Parolli and JP Woods, Northpoint: Parolli and Woods had two interceptions and six total tackles, respectively.

Jake Cherry and Chase Jennings, Northpoint: Cherry and Jennings had seven and six assists, respectively.

Sam Walton and Ethan Sanders, Olive Branch: Walton and Sanders each had nine total tackles in a 49-22 victory over ECS.

Nick Tuttle, St. Benedict: Tuttle had four solo tackles and five assists in a 39-0 loss to Cordova.

Special Teams

Nolan Carson, Brighton: Carson kicked field goals of 46 and 24 yards in a 35-27 loss to Covington.

Jeremiah Patton, Central: Patton had an 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in a 49-21 loss to Senatobia.

Christopher Watson, MASE: Watson returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown in a 50-14 victory against St. George’s. Offensively, he had a rushing TD.

Kollin Collier, Munford: Collier returned a kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown in a 42-14 victory over Millington. Defensively, he had five tackles and an interception.
