Meet The Oklahoman's 2024 Class A-B All-Tournament boys and girls basketball teams

Here’s a look at The Oklahoman’s selections for the 2024 Class A and B All-Tournament teams from the state basketball tournaments last week.

Class A boys

MVP: Jett Mueggenborg, Okarche

The 6-foot-1 guard showed why he’s one of the state’s best players in the 2026 class. Mueggenburg averaged 22 points over the weekend to lead Okarche to its first boys state championship since 1979. He scored 20 points in the state title game while defeating defending champion Caddo.

Class A girls

MVP: Braci Nyberg, Seiling

The reigning Class A state tournament MVP, Nyberg led Seiling to a state championship three-peat. Opponents continually put their best defenders against her, but Nyberg always impacted games in multiple ways. She totaled 28 points, four rebounds and three assists in the finals against Oklahoma Bible Academy.

Class B boys

MVP: Za’brien Shelburn, Wilson (Henryetta)

Shelburn’s efficiency on offense was a huge reason Wilson (Henryetta) won its first boys basketball state title. The freshman spearheaded Wilson (Henryetta) to its first-ever Class B state title, averaging 22 points while leading the defense with 4.3 steals per game. Shelburn exploded for 25 points in the title game against previously undefeated Calumet.

MVP: Abby Swart, Lomega

After finishing as the Class B runner-up for the past two years, Swart guided Lomega to the state title. Opponents had to double-team her, and she still finished with 21 points in the state finals.
