Marvin Harrison injury update: Ohio State WR briefly exits vs. Indiana after landing on arm

Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. briefly exited the Buckeyes' game vs. Indiana with an apparent injury to his left arm or shoulder. He was seen grimacing on the sideline for several moments before play resumed late in the second quarter.

The injury occurred in the waning seconds of the first half as Harrison — a presumed top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft — landed on his outstretched left arm. CBS announcer Gary Danielson noted it was similar to the one that knocked out former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young for a portion of the 2022 college football season.

Harrison later returned to the field after the brief injury scare, with coach Ryan Day saying during the halftime interview that he was "fine." The Buckeyes led 10-3 heading into halftime, with Harrison notching just two catches for 18 yards; he played in the second half, where his lone catch — a 24-yard touchdown from Kyle McCord — was called back due to an illegal touching penalty. The receiver finished with just two catches on the day.

Harrison, who returned from halftime following his injury, was also notably knocked out of the Buckeyes' College Football Playoff semifinal game vs. Georgia after he took a hard hit and was placed in concussion protocol.
