Marshon Lattimore, Mike Evans ejected from Saints-Bucs game after massive fight

The back-and-forth between New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore and Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans has been going on for a while not, and it seems to have its roots in the fact that Lattimore is one of the new cornerbacks who can consistently shut Evans down.

With 12:55 left in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game between the two teams, a massive fight broke out, and both Lattimore and Evans were ejected as a result. Let’s start with the play that began the fracas. Brady tried to hit receiver Scotty Miller on a deep pass down the right boundary, and Lattimore was in… well, let’s just say the coverage was pretty tight.

Brady, whose frustration with his own offense and the Saints’ defense was already palatable, had a few things to say to Lattimore, who gave him the old “Talk to the hand” gesture. That brought running back Leonard Fournette into the picture, and Evans came from the sideline to push Lattimore to the ground.

And as they say in all the old westerns, that’s when the trouble began.

Both Lattimore and Evans were ejected from the game.
