Male, Christian Academy unanimous No. 1s in final Kentucky High School Football Media Poll

The final Kentucky High School Football Media Poll of the season sees some clear-cut favorites for state championships and a couple of tight races.

With the playoffs set to start in all six classes this week, Male (Class 6A) and Christian Academy (Class 3A) are unanimous No. 1 picks in their classes. Boyle County (Class 4A) and Lexington Christian (Class 2A) are the clear favorites in their classes.

Class 5A has the closest vote for No. 1, with Bowling Green getting 14 first-place votes to Highlands’ 10. In Class A, Raceland leads the way with 15 first-place votes and is followed by Pikeville (seven) and Campbellsville (two).

A total of 24 sports journalists from across Kentucky returned ballots this week.
