July is here, recruiting is hot this summer and Quindarious Monday has eliminated a number of schools and trimmed his list to seven.

The 6-foot-3, 180 pound safety out of Atlanta Carver said these schools are still in contention.

"Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Tennessee are my top seven," said Monday.

Monday has visited each school on the list at least once, some have had him on their campus numerous times.

Many have their thoughts on who may have the edge in this race, but Monday did not tip his hand if one or two schools do stand out in his mind.

"All seven schools have a chance still. I do not have a leader right now."

Auburn once held that top spot early in the spring, but Monday backed off that in May.

Monday has talked about committing during the season in the past, but when asked about it Saturday, he said he was "unsure" when he would be ready.

Monday is the No. 30-ranked safety in the country and the No. 28-ranked prospect in Georgia.
