LSU on the rise in US LBM Coaches Poll after beatdown win over Mississippi State in Week 3
The Tigers put the rest of the SEC, which at large has struggled to begin the 2023 season, on notice Saturday.
In LSU’s conference opener, it went on the road and silenced the morning kick-off crowd in Starkville with a dominating 41-14 win that was never in doubt.
It was an overall quiet Week 3 in college football. Though many top teams faced scares, only one ranked above LSU in the US LBM Coaches Poll lost: Tennessee, which fell in Gainesville for the 10th straight time against the Florida Gators.
