LSU men's basketball score vs. Lamar: Live updates from the Pete Maravich Assembly Center

BATON ROUGE – LSU men's basketball returns home to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Thursday as the Tigers host Lamar (8 p.m., SEC Network).

The Tigers (6-5) lost to No. 22 Texas on Saturday, 95-86, in Jalen Cook's return to the court.

Jordan Wright led the Tigers in scoring with 33 points on 14 shots. Cook had 13 points and six assists in his debut performance this season after he was ineligible to play the first 10 games.

The NCAA denied Cook's two-time transfer waiver at the start of the season, forcing him out until a judge ruled last Wednesday that all two-time transfers were eligible to play immediately this season. The NCAA later came to an agreement with the court that would extend the ruling until the end of spring sports season.

Lamar (5-6) lost to Southern Miss on Monday. The Cardinals have lost three of their last four games.
