Who will LSU basketball play in SEC Tournament? Seed, time, TV

LSU basketball closed the regular season on Saturday night with an 83-80 win over Missouri, and in doing so, officially clinched its seed in the SEC Tournament.

The Tigers (17-14, 9-9 SEC) will be the 8-seed in the tournament and will play No. 9 Mississippi State in the second round. LSU and MSU (19-12, 8-10) will tip off from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville at 12 p.m. CT on Thursday. Thursday's game will be broadcast nationwide on SEC Network.

The SEC Tournament begins Wednesday and runs through Sunday. The four lowest-seeded teams will play in the first round. LSU is one of six teams to clinch a first-round bye, with the four highest-seeded teams clinching a double-bye.

All first- and second-round games will be broadcast on SEC Network, as well as two quarterfinal games. The remaining quarterfinals, both semifinals, and the SEC Championship will be broadcast on ESPN.
