LSU baseball score vs. Texas A&M: Live updates from the SEC Tournament

HOOVER Ala. – No. 3 seed LSU baseball will try to keep its tournament title hopes alive as it faces No. 10 seed Texas A&M in the fourth round of the SEC Tournament on Friday (3 p.m., SEC Network).

The Tigers (43-14) fell to the losers bracket after falling to No. 2 seed Arkansas on Thursday, 5-4.

LSU held a 2-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fourth inning. But starter Paul Skenes allowed two earned runs before getting pulled with the bases loaded and two outs for Riley Cooper.

Cooper forced a pop-out that would have ended the inning but Alex Milazzo was called for a catcher's interference, allowing a run to score and the inning to continue. Arkansas right fielder Jace Bohrofen then hit a single that scored two runs and gave the Razorbacks a three-run lead.

LSU scored twice, including a solo home run from Dylan Crews in the ninth, but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.

Texas A&M (34-24) defeated No. 6 seed South Carolina on Thursday to stay afloat in the tournament, 5-0. The winner of Friday's game will face Arkansas in the semifinals on Saturday (Noon, SEC Network).
