Louisiana-Monroe staff member gets carted off sideline vs. Southern Miss, gives thumbs up

Louisiana-Monroe vs. Southern Miss had a scary moment Saturday, when an apparent ULM staff member was carted off after a player was tackled into him on the sideline.
Southern Miss quarterback Billy Wiles was scrambling and was tackled into the Louisiana-Monroe sideline, taking out the person in the process. He was treated for several minutes on the sideline before being carted off.

It wasn't immediately clear who the staffer is or what injury he incurred, but he did offer a thumbs up on his way off the field.
As pictured, many ULM players took a knee on the field as the staffer was treated.

Update: Southern Miss football SID Jack Duggan confirmed to Sam Sklar of the Hattiesburg American that the staffer was transported to a nearby hospital but is otherwise OK.
