Los Angeles Chargers at Indianapolis Colts: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 16 matchup

The Indianapolis Colts (4-9-1) return home after a demoralizing collapse against the Minnesota Vikings last week. Change is on the horizon as the Colts will start veteran backup Nick Foles on Monday night.

The Los Angeles Chargers (8-6) arrive with the playoffs on their mind. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is playing at a high level, and it could continue against the Colts.

Will the Colts be able to flush their Week 15 loss? Fans will be eager to see what happens down the stretch for both teams.

Safid Deen: Chargers 30, Colts 13

Don’t expect the Colts to jump on the Chargers like they did the Vikings last week. Justin Herbert and the Chargers need a win to clinch a playoff spot and will use the Colts game to find their rhythm offensively before a playoff run.

Victoria Hernandez: Chargers 24, Colts 10

The Chargers are finally getting healthy and having Mike Williams and Keenan Allen back in the lineup for Justin Herbert gives him the weapons he needs to send the Bolts to the playoffs for the first time since 2018. The Colts have been too inconsistent and changing quarterbacks doesn't help the equation in this bizarre experiment that is their season.

Jaylon Thompson: Chargers 27, Colts 14

The Colts are turning to backup Nick Foles this week. It spells trouble for the Colts as they are already without Jonathan Taylor as well. The Chargers have a similar offense as the Minnesota Vikings that dropped 39 on Indianapolis last week. Los Angeles will continue to roll on Monday night.
