Looking to wager on Chiefs-49ers player props for Super Bowl 2024? Here are our best bets

With sports betting expanding across the country year after year, there are more options than ever for bettors to wager on Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium.

There are game specials, scoring props, and much more on a multitude of sportsbooks throughout New Jersey.

For last year's player props, I nailed two of my three selections as Eagles QB Jalen Hurts soared over his 238.5 passing yard total (309 yards) and Chiefs RB Isaiah Pacheco cleared his 11.5 rushing attempt total as he finished with 15 attempts in Super Bowl 57.

So how will things go down for this year's Super Bowl? Here are my three must-bet player props for Super Bowl 58:

1. Chiefs RB Isaiah Pacheco OVER 66.5 rushing yards (-112)

Pacheco has already been a focal point so far this week in my Super Bowl 58 primer.

The former Rutgers star running back from New Jersey has continued his success from his rookie season a year ago, posting nearly 1,000 rushing yards and 249 total touches (205 carries & 44 receptions) in his second season.

Pacheco hasn't shown any signs of slowing down as he's gone over this total in all three matchups this postseason.

The Vineland native faces a San Francisco defense that right now has struggled mightily versus the run. The 49ers have surrendered at least 132 yards in each game on the ground and have already given up five rushing touchdowns in these playoffs.

Pacheco ran for 76 yards in Super Bowl 57, and I don't see any reason why he can't repeat or even have better numbers against a once-vaunted 49ers' run defense.

The lowest number you can get for Pacheco is 66.5 rushing yards at -112 (Bet $112 to win $100) on BetRivers.

2. 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey OVER 4.5 receptions (-122)

Likely one of the most-bet players during Super Bowl 58 will have to be McCaffrey.

The three-time Pro Bowler is the betting favorite for the Offensive Player of the Year and for good reason.

McCaffrey had a career-high in rushing yards (1,459) and double-digit rushing touchdowns for the second time in his career.

Where I'm aiming at betting on the two-time All-Pro is on his receptions prop.

CMC has had four or more catches in five straight games, including seven receptions in the NFC Championship game versus the Lions.

With how well the Chiefs' defense has played this season, I expect that 49ers QB Brock Purdy will be looking McCaffrey's way for short, easy targets out of the backfield in order to stay out of trouble with dangerous throws over the middle of the field.

His receiving yards line is a bit deceiving due to his low totals over the last month, so I'm all-in on CMC to be one of the focal points in the passing game for San Francisco come Super Bowl Sunday.

FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the best available price of -122 (Bet $122 to win $100) for McCaffrey to have five or more receptions.

3. Chiefs TE Travis Kelce OVER 70.5 receiving yards (-110)

Kelce has stolen the storylines this NFL season thanks to his new budding relationship with one of the biggest celebrities in the world in pop star Taylor Swift.

Despite failing to reach 1,000+ receiving yards for the first time since 2015, the nine-time Pro Bowler has gotten back to his high level of production in the postseason.

In his last three games, Kelce has 26 receptions, 262 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs' run to their second straight Super Bowl appearance.

Kelce has also exceeded this receiving line with ease in two of three Super Bowl appearances, including going for six catches and 81 yards in last year's victory.

There's no doubt the 49ers will try their best to take away the Chiefs' top target and make QB Patrick Mahomes go elsewhere with the ball.

With that being said, I still believe Mahomes will make sure to get Kelce going early and often just like he did in Super Bowl 57 when he had 60 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter alone.

While Caesars Sportsbook has the best number available at 69.5 receiving yards for a price of -135 (Bet $135 to win $100), you can get a much better value with the line of 70.5 yards at -110 on multiple sportsbooks in New Jersey.
