Sauerkraut Supper, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster. Carry-out only. Pick up meals at the North Street entrance. The meal includes sauerkraut, pork, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread and pie. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children under age 12, and can be purchased in the church office or at the door. Proceeds go to the annual joint mission trip with the College of Wooster to Tijuana, Mexico, working with Esperanza International.

Soup supper, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, St. John’s ECC, 8670 State Route 39, Millersburg; carry-out only. The meal will consist of five soups, corn bread or roll, apple sauce and pie. Cost is by donation, which will support the activities of the Missions Committee.

Colored Porcelain,10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Wayne Center for the Arts, Wooster; ages 18 and up. In this daylong workshop with Cleveland-based artist Brian Sarama, participants will learn his specialized technique of mixing clay. Annual Turkey Trot 5k, 8 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25, sponsored by the Wooster YMCA in memory of Jim Boyd, who was an avid runner and worked for the YMCA for 32 years, volunteer at all of the races.
