LOOK: UNC basketball players at football team’s win over App State
North Carolina’s home opener against Appalachian State was a rocky one for the Tar Heels. The Mountaineers hung with the Tar Heels every step of the way before UNC prevailed in double overtime.
The win moved the Tar Heels to 2-0 on the year ahead of another non-conference home game against Minnesota next week. And while there are some things for them to work on, the home crowd went home happy.
That home crowd included the North Carolina men’s basketball program who took the game in on Saturday night. The team was in Kenan Memorial Stadium for Saturday’s game, taking in the atmosphere and enjoying a UNC win as you can see below:
North Carolina’s roster in 2023-24 will look different as they saw a lot of turnover due to the transfer portal. As we approach the start of the season in a few months, the team is enjoying the time off to bond and prepare for the upcoming campaign.
