Here are the local wrestlers who qualified for regionals

BRONSON — The Bronson wrestling program hosted the individual district tournament this past Saturday. The Vikings had a successful day, pushing nine wrestlers through to the regional round.

Winning district titles for Bronson on the day were Owen Kimmons at 126, Gabe Erwin (150), Carson Norton (175) and Jacob Britten (190). Logan Long (126), Layne Knisely (157) and Mason Lindsey (165) each wrestled to second place.

Kestin Goodman (215) finished third in his weight class. Collin York (144) came in fourth place.

Mendon finished with five regional qualifiers to next weekend.

Ash Staffen (106), Braxten Haigh (120) and JT Lux (190) each finished in third place for their weight classes. Claiming fourth place were both Xavier Zinsmaster (126) and Marcus Hodges (175).

Colon did not have any qualifiers.

Lakeshore District

Both Sturgis and Three Rivers wrestled at the Stevensville-Lakeshore district on Saturday.

Three Rivers finished with 12 members heading onto the regional round. Half of those qualifiers won their respective flights on Saturday.

Wrestling to district titles for the Wildcats were Ethan Moreland (126), Ayden Keller (132), Landon Moreland (150), Louis Smith (165), Jaxon Smith (190) and Sammy Reynolds (215).

Jak Monroe (120), Evan Harper (150), Braylon Fail (157) and Jeremiah Detwiler (175) each wrestled to second place. Kale Parr (113) finished third, Carter Hensley (132) came in fourth place.

The lone Sturgis wrestler to qualify was Angel Alvarez Galvan. He finished fourth overall at 157 pounds.

Constantine District

The Constantine Falcons hosted a wrestling district on Saturday morning. Constantine finished with an impressive 12 regional qualifiers once the day was over.

Of the 12 qualifiers, four won their respective weight classes and were crowned district champions.

Bear Geibe finished atop his weight class at 132 pounds. Also winning district championships were Brody Jones (157), Gregg Reed (190) and Bennett VandenBerg (285). VandenBerg remains unbeaten on the season at 45-0.

Claiming second place was Preston Like at 132. Carter Godfrey (165) wrestled to second place as well while Koltin Gross (138), Bucky Cramer (150), Dathan Smith (175) and Greg Crawford (285) each came in third place. Jace Vavul (120) and Brody Godfrey (157) each finished fourth overall.

Schoolcraft District

Three local schools competed at the Schoolcraft wrestling district on Saturday.

Of the three competing, White Pigeon finished with the most qualifiers with nine onto the regional round.

White Pigeon also had two district champions on the day. Caleb Lane (175) wrestled to first place, winning all three of his matches. Seth Miller (215) also finished in first place.

Finishing second overall in their flights were Mazzy Lambert (113), Jesse Fielis (138) and Evan Rudloff (150). Maddix Jancasz (132) finished third while David Lane (106) and Drew Johnson (120) came in fourth place.

Marcellus finished with one qualifier to the next round. Wyatt Korst finished fourth overall at 175 pounds.

Centreville did not have any qualifiers.
