Livingston County track and field top performers before regionals
The Livingston County track and field honor roll got an overhaul following the KLAA and SEC White meets last week.
It’s sure to have even more changes this week in regional meets, which tend to see the best performances of the season as athletes hope to qualify for state.
Brighton, Hartland and Howell will compete in the Division 1 regional Friday at Grand Ledge. Fowlerville is in the Division 2 regional Friday at Corunna, Pinckney is in the Division 2 regional Saturday at Dearborn Divine Child and Charyl Stockwell is in the Division 3 regional at Stockbridge.
Livingston Christian’s only athlete, distance runner Taylor Wiegand, has a good chance to emerge from the Division 4 regional Saturday at Lutheran Westland.
