Liberty Hill had a pair of running backs eclipse 300 yards on the ground as the Panthers rolled up 782 on the Hippos. Senior running back Ben Carter paced LH with 394 yards with 4TDs, while fellow senior Noah Long averaged over 20 yards a carry as he picked up 310 yards on 15 carries while scoring 5 times.

For the second straight week, Hutto’s Elite 11 quarterback Will Hammond produced Madden-like numbers. The Texas Tech commit completed 36 of 58 passes for 719 yards and 4 TDs. The 719 yards is the 3rd highest total in Texas 11-man football history, only trailing Stamford’s Peyton Bevel 789 vs. DeLeon in 2018 and Marble Falls’ Mike Richardson, who picked up 725 yards in a 2012 game against Boerne Champion.

Hammond also added to his gaudy passing numbers with 88 yards on the ground with 6 scoring runs.

Hutto receiver Alex Green averaged over 18 yards per catch as he pulled in 15 passes for 275 yards and a score.

Tonight, Hutto will look to bounce back as they take their offensive juggernaut to Cibolo to face perennial power Steele.
