Live updates: Bi-district playoffs El Paso high school football scores
The high school football playoffs for El Paso teams begin with the bi-district round on Thursday and Friday in Classes 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A.
El Paso will have five games in the area on Friday, Amarillo Palo Duro at Canutillo, Abilene Cooper at Chapin, Amarillo High at Bel Air, Amarillo Tascosa at Del Valle and Frenship at Eastwood.
Last season, Canutillo went the furthest of any team, reaching the third round of the Class 5A, Division II playoffs.
