HEGINS — Parker Hatter worked four-plus innings, striking out seven and Tri-Valley took advantage of five Minersville errors to record the victory.
Mike Yourey belted two doubles and struck out eight on the mound despite taking the loss. Harmon Leshko added a double for the Miners.

POTTSVILLE — Austin Strokelitus, Jay Kunstek and Nolan Davis knocked in two runs each for Pottsville (5-0) in its District 24 Major Division victory over Upper Dauphin County-Millersburg at Rotary Field.
Kunstek paced the winners' five-hit attack with a double.
Gavin Trawitz had two singles for lead UDC-Millersburg (2-3). Nolan Crosby and Chase Wilbert added a double each.
Winning pitcher Tommy Welsh worked the first five innings, striking out four.

NEW PHILADELPHIA — Eli Miller's two-run double sparked a seven-run rally in the top of the third as Halifax surged past Saint Clair/Port Carbon/New Philadelphia at James S. Clark Field.
SPN scored three runs in the bottom of the first to take a 3-2 lead before Halifax's big inning. Miller pitched the first three innings for Halifax and added another double and scored in the sixth.
