Listen to Texas LB DeMarvion Overshown’s draft call from the Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys used the No. 90 overall pick in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft to select Texas linebacker DeMarvion Overshown on Friday evening.
Some draft analysts believe Dallas selected Overshown a little early, but others feel the sky is the limit for his athletic frame, versatility and skills in Dan Quinn’s defense.
For Overshown, it was a childhood dream come true. He was raised in the small town of Arp, Texas, surrounded by Dallas fans his whole life.
“The tears instantly started coming down my face once I saw that number. I couldn’t have asked for a better situation. I’m blessed and I’m ready to get to work — I’m ready,” he told Cowboys reporter Patrik Walker.
