The Lions held Jordan Love and the Packers to 21 yards in the first half, and social media certainly noticed
Twenty-one yards on 22 offensive plays.
That's what was on the Green Bay Packers' stat sheet at halftime of Thursday night's game against the Detroit Lions.
The Lions absolutely owned the Packers in the first half, with 284 yards of total offense, three touchdowns, four sacks and an interception in taking a 27-3 lead.
With starters on the Packers' offensive line nursing injuries, Detroit's physical pass rush and got to Jordan Love early and often.
The Packers' defense wasn't any better, giving up large chunks of yardage on the ground and through the air.
And social media noticed:

Give it to Aaron Jones on:
1st down
2nd down
3rd and short
Goaline (atleast twice)
Never give it to Aj Dillon. We have seen enough.— ThePackerFan (@CrazyPackerGuy) September 29, 2023
Of course, the first half was bad last week too....
#Packers open second half with their longest TD drive of the season so far. The defense responds with a three-and-out.
