Colorado's second spring game under Deion Sanders won't air live on ESPN this season, but "this year's edition promises to set a new standard for spring games across the nation."

That's according to a new University of Colorado press release that details the Buffaloes' annual Black and Gold Weekend.

The festivities are headlined by the 2024 spring football game that kicks off at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27. It will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network.

Tickets — which will be open to students on Tuesday, April 2, and the general public on Wednesday, April 3 — will be $15 for bowl seating, $25 for Byron White East Club seating and $5 for students.

The weekend doesn't end there, though.

Legendary rapper Lil Wayne will put on a post-game concert at the CU Events Center. Concert tickets start as low as $29.50 (plus fees) and will go on sale beginning at noon on April 1.

Lil Wayne performed as CU entered the field for the 2023 Rocky Mountain Showdown before facing Colorado State.

An exclusive talent show at the CU Events Center hosted by 5430 Alliance, Colorado's new NIL collective, will actually get the weekend started on Thursday, April 25. Tickets will be free, and the event will be open to any and all fans, students, faculty and staff.
