LeBron James’ hyped Instagram reaction to Jarred Vanderbilt’s contract extension

A few days ago, it was reported that the Los Angeles Lakers had agreed with forward Jarred Vanderbilt on a four-year contract extension that will be worth $48 million. On Monday, he officially signed that extension.

It was another move in the name of roster continuity and a youth movement while still looking to win an NBA championship now with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Lakers are stocked with talent across their roster, and most consider them one of a handful of teams that could realistically walk away with the Larry O’Brien Trophy next June.

James showed his approval of Vanderbilt’s contract extension by taking to social media.

There had been rumblings this summer that James wanted L.A. to once again go after a third star such as his former championship teammate Kyrie Irving or his banana boat buddy Chris Paul. But the 38-year-old superstar has publicly shown his support for what his team has done in terms of bringing back the core players that got it to the Western Conference Finals just a few months ago.
