LeBron James and Anthony Davis are outside the top 10 of The Ringer’s NBA rankings
The Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis is still arguably the best in the NBA, but where they rank individually is an even more contentious debate.
A recent ranking of the league’s top players by ESPN had both in its top 10, albeit at the end of that range — James was No. 9 and Davis was right behind him at No. 10.
On Wednesday, The Ringer came out with its own list of the top 100 NBA players, and this one wasn’t as generous to the Lakers’ tandem. On this ranking, James was just No. 12, and Davis actually came in slightly higher than him at No. 11 (h/t Lakers Daily).

One could make a strong argument that both James and Davis should rank ahead of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker and Jimmy Butler, at the very least.
At the same time, rising stud Austin Reaves got a good deal of respect from the same list, as he came in at No. 60.
