Latest Alabama baseball projections for NCAA tournament: Will Tide host a regional?
As the college baseball season approaches its conclusion, Alabama baseball has new projections for the upcoming NCAA tournament.
Last week, the Crimson Tide was a projected No. 2 seed by D1 Baseball and a projected No. 4 seed by Baseball America. After losing another road SEC series, this time against Mississippi State, Alabama (30-18, 10-14 SEC) fell to No. 25 nationally in the USA Today coaches poll.
As Alabama closes out the regular season with upcoming series' against LSU and Auburn, here is a look at the latest projections for the Crimson Tide:

Baseball America's projection for Alabama
Baseball America projects Alabama as a No. 3 seed. The Crimson Tide would be part of the Santa Barbara region where No. 1 UC Santa-Barbara would be the host school.
The other schools in the region are No. 2 Arizona and No. 4 Fresno State
D1 Baseball's projection for Alabama baseball
D1Baseball has Alabama as a No. 2 seed as part of the Chapel Hill region with No. 1 North Carolina being the host school.
The other school's in the region are No. 3 UNC-Wilmington and No. 4 Bryant.
