The Lakers welcomed the Warriors to Staples Center on MLK Day and looked poised to stretch their current win streak to six games – but a late collapse allowed Steph Curry and the Warriors to stun the defending champs in the fourth quarter.
The Lakers led by as many as 14 points in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors took control of the game with a brilliant run in the closing minutes. Down by eight with 7:30 left to play, the Warriors went on a 15-3 run to take a four-point lead and held on for a stunning win, 115-113.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis had rough shooting nights, combining to go 12-for-32 from the field for just 36 points.
