LaJethro Jenkins breaks down why the Lakers could have done better, and the rough road ahead for the Warriors.

LAJETHRO JENKINS: The way he clapped for Bron after Bron hit that shot. I bet. That's villainous. He's a villain. He's leaned in. Big win for the Lakers last night against the Warriors. Big win. Thankful we got the dub, but I'm not happy. Huge shot by Bron. 40 footer, Diden step up, forwarded game, with the shot clock running down.

Yes, but how did we get there? How did we get there? Why? What was that possession? Why are we forcing the ball in the KCP in the paint? Why is it necessary to get the ball in a place we can't do with it? We can't play like that and win the ship. We're not. If we play like that, we're not going to win the ship. Yes, we won. Thankful we won. We played great D. Did the best we could on Steph.

But AD has to be AD. Bron, he still looks hurt. He's tied up with his legs up under him. He got his pushed all over the place last night. Solid enough game, but it didn't quite look like LeBron game. So yes we won. I want to be excited with everybody. Great shot, but the main feeling I have right now is relief. We're in the playoffs.

As far as how we look going forward, we look good. The Suns, we could dogwalk the Suns if we're ourselves. And then we either have the Nuggets or the Blazers. We have the easiest route to the Western Conference Finals from the sevens position that we could possibly have. So the Lakers look good going forward. They have to play like themselves, though, flat out. We can't have game halves like that. They looked like it was the second week of the season. You can see they haven't had the reps yet.

They've got to get more in sync on offense and shorter-- quit forcing them pocket passes. If it ain't there, step out instead of back up, baby. Come on, man. You was fooled on defense, too. Fooled. Everybody's fooled against Steph. I ain't mad at it, except for Caruso. The discipline, I love it.

As far as the Warriors, the Warriors got a rough route. They got to go through the Jags who are solid, and then they got to heat up the Clippers, probably. Clippers are a match. You know what I mean? But I don't know, man. They looked good last night. And if we are the Lakers that are supposed to be a title contender, you know, they played great against a title contender. We'll see what happens with them. I don't know if we'll see them again. That's a gauntlet they've got to go through.

And we've talked a lot about the Clippers, but the Clippers have no pressure this year, and they look great, one of the best teams in the second half of the season. And the Jags team is one of the best teams in the league this year, best in the conference, obviously. So I don't-- hey, hey. They got a rough roll, but with that man Steph Curry with that cape on and what he does-- bro, I know 2016, unanimous MVP, all of that. You know what I mean?

But I don't know who's better then or now. I know I'm more scared of the 2021 stuff, though. That man frightens me. The way he clapped for Bron after Bron hit that shot, I bet. That's villainous. He's a villain. He's leaned in. We'll see what happens game one, see how they look. Hey, but we got to be 100%, man. No more of that bullshit. Tighten it up, boys. Let's go.
